It appears that, about the middle of the fourth century of the Christian Era, the Germans in the Roman service started the new practice of retaining their native names; and this change of etiquette, which seems to have been abrupt, points to a sudden access of self-confidence and self-assurance in the souls of the barbarian personnel which had previously been content to 'go Roman' without reservations.

  9. (uncountable) (computing) The process of locating data in memory.

Q. I have a wireless laptop that connects to the internet through a wireless router. That is also hooked up to a regular hard wired router that two other computers are on which can both access the internet also through the regular cables. What I'm trying to do is be able to access the regular network using my wireless laptop but don't know if this is possible. What do I need to do to access the files I need. How to restrict access to the internet?
Q. I have employees who have been searching the net during their work hours and downloading contents unecessary to their work. How can I: (1) Restrict their access to certain websites (2) I can only make them access to one website only I've tried restricting their access to certain websites, but I would like that they could only access one website. Is this possible? I also tried restricting their access under Control Panel>Internet Options, but my question is how would I know that my employees would not change the settings?

A. You can do software restriction through parental control type of software, or there is a more secure and more expensive hardware option, many high end hardware firewalls have resriction lists build in. Depends on how big your company is, but if it is fairly small, just go with a software like parental control. McAfee has a good one. P.S. You are right, the way you are doing it is not foolproof and many employees that are pretty smart will find ways around doing an option like that.
